How many times have you thought about starting your own business?
We have successfully trained 135+ entrepreneurs on how to launch a business from an idea and we’ve helped many of our graduates raise an average of $500k + in equity.
In our Lean Startup Workshop you will:
- Learn how to build a lean startup.
- Build know-how and confidence.
- Meet like-minded people, or find a co-founder.
- Connect into Manitoba’s startup ecosystem.
Build your lean startup using evidence-based entrepreneurship.
This 1-day workshop will introduce you to the Lean Startup approach. From talking to customers to discover whether your idea solves a meaningful problem, to testing your product/service with beta customers, this Workshop will give you a clear sense of where you are going and what you need to do to get there.
Led by Randy Thompson and Jan Lederman (bios below), the Lean Startup Workshop will touch on some of the key areas startups need to consider on the path to becoming a successful business venture: products, customers, markets, business models, and management teams. It will show you how to be efficient with your cash, increase your speed to market and reduce your risk of failure.
Upcoming dates for our Lean Startup Workshops are December 11, 2016 and June 4, 2017.
“Being an engineer in the middle of my MBA, I was no stranger to a classroom; however, the Skills Workshop was very interactive and provided a different flavour. We got a real-world view of what an entrepreneur has to face at each stage, explained in plain and simple terms. The 1-day investment is more than worth its while, whether you’re a budding entrepreneur, a small business owner, or simply a person with an idea.”
– Peter Wheatley, engineer with an idea
“I had my doubts about how much value a Workshop like this could provide me. But I walked away with some critical pieces of information that I anticipate will prove invaluable towards my ability to raise capital.”
– Murray Waldman, Sunnex Biotech
