Most of our clients find the above programs beneficial, but if you think you are ready to take it to the next level, we encourage you to register for the Investor Pitch-Ready Certification program. This program generally involves three stages.
A venture wishing to participate in the program is subject to an intake and pre-screening process, to ensure it possesses the core elements that would make it ready for an investor pitch. Elements include having a scalable business plan, elements of a management team, a functioning board of directors, a core technology with associated intellectual property or unique business process, as well as satisfactory completion of basic legal due diligence.
A venture meeting the pre-screening requirements is placed before a review panel, comprised of volunteer advisors and investors, that follows a structured process to review and provide detailed feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of the venture and its investment pitch. A venture certified as “investor pitch-ready” will then progresses to Stage Three of the program. A venture not certified will receive detailed feedback that will assist them in taking their venture to the next stage of development.
Where a venture is certified investor pitch-ready, Innovate Manitoba will actively work its investor networks to schedule an opportunity for the venture to present its investment pitch.
